40s. He is the head of the Criminal Investigations Unit for the Jackson County Sheriff’s office and has devoted over half his career to the arrest and conviction of drug related offenders moving into the public lands surrounding his home.
While he doesn’t believe they’ll change the world taking down illegal growers, Thomson is convinced that he’ll make a difference by keeping just one kid from getting hooked on drugs or by keeping a person high on pot from getting in a vehicle and killing someone.
