William Trubridge, Free Diver

New Zealander William Trubridge holds the world record in free diving. The 31-year-old dives to more than 330 feet — a place where sunlight no longer reaches — without the use of fins, ropes or weights. To execute these amazing aquatic feats, William wears a custom-designed, silicon-coated wetsuit to speed his performance and protect his body as it undergoes incredible physiological changes during the deep descent and excruciating ascent.
