Best known as the star of Discovery Channel's series Survivorman, Les Stroud continues to break new ground as a filmmaker and television host. Combining his love for the outdoors and his skills as a producer, Stroud has appeared in numerous television programs including Discovery Channel's Shark Feeding Frenzy, I Shouldn't Be Alive: The Science Of Survival, Surviving Sharks, Expedition Everest, After The Experiment, and Deadly Waters, as well as Science Channel's Surviving Urban Disasters.
Survivorman — the hit series hosted, filmed, produced and written by Les Stroud — was chosen as the number one pick on Wired magazine's 'Top Ten' list in February 2007. Stroud also made the 2007 'Top 100 People We Love to Watch' list in Entertainment Weekly magazine. He has appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, MTV Live, The View, The Hour, as well as four appearances on Larry King Live. Survivorman has been celebrated by parody on the hit sitcom The Office as well as King of the Hill.
