Meet Dick Green

Dick joined Controlled Group as a seasoned blaster after serving for 25 years in the Royal Engineers, where he carried out various tasks including demolitions and bomb disposal. He is now Controlled Group's Senior Explosives Engineer. Along with Mick Williams, Dick makes up half of one of the finest double acts in the explosive demolition business. Commonly known as "Mick and Dick," they are the blasters behind the UK demolition company Controlled Group and are ranked amongst Britain's foremost blasters. Since joining Controlled Group in 1993, they have completed hundred of explosive demolitions across the globe in over a dozen countries.

If he remembers correctly, Dick's most challenging job was the demolition of a power station in India, where vipers and scorpions were a bigger concern than stray debris.
