The owner and manager of blasting company Demtech, Scott is one of the most respected demolition experts in the US. Scott grew up around explosives: his father was the superintendent for a blasting company. He worked for his father during the summers, and he formed Demtech in 1986.

Scott loves life on the road. His team has demolished structures in almost every state in the US as well as Jamaica, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Canada, Korea and Kazakhstan.

Demtech continues to blast all types of structures including silos, industrial structures, smoke stacks and, most frequently, bridges. Demtech performs an estimated 95% of the bridge demolitions in the US. In 2003, Demtech blasted the Ohio Turnpike bridge, the longest bridge ever felled with explosives.
