Meet Dr. Paul Worsey

Explosives expert Dr. Paul Worsey lives and breathes explosives. He's been working full time in explosives-related research, teaching and consulting for the past 30 years. His first training in explosives was at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK (where he also was a skydiving instructor) and he has since obtained a broad international reputation. Dr. Worsey started the first college commercial-demolition class in the United States at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He also directs a number of different explosives-related short courses each year, including his legendary "Explosives Camp" for high school students. He has several teaching awards, including a President's award from the International Society of Explosives Engineers.
