DINO ARTISTS "FLIP CARD" STORYBOARDS

See the original storyboard versions of the Dinosaur Revolution stories developed in this classic format by a team of world class artists. This method has been used by story-telling artists for decades and should be familiar to anyone who's ever picked up a comic book! Eventually, with years of hard-work and the use of the latest digital magic, these stories have been transformed into the glorious presentations you'll see on screen.

What you'll see here are the complete storyboard sets for a selection of the final stories. Since each set consists of hundreds of panels that tell the story in rapid-fire frame by frame format — many more than a typical comic book — we've bundled each of the storyboard sets into cool "FLIP CARD" viewers. Just click on the thumbnail or story name to play the FLIP CARDS. These are originals with lots of variation in style and color so don't scratch your head when things jump around. And you'll probably need to watch each of the stories several times before the story pops.

EORAPTOR - Late Triassic, 200 million years ago, Argentina.
After dodging a herd of bulky, tusked mammal-like reptiles, a male Eoraptor sets off in search of a mate but is soon running for its life from its nemesis Saurosuchus. The hapless suitor eventually reaches the Eoraptor nesting grounds where another predator attack leads to an improbable mating encounter.

In the bug infested rain forest of ancient Antarctica, a peaceful Glacialisaurus is separated from his herd by a run of bad luck but finds an unlikely ally in a swarm of mosquitoes.

JURASSIC BEAVER - Late Jurassic, 160 million years ago, China
A hapless pair of juvenile Guanlong tyrannosauroids head out on the hunt and eventually take off after the clever Castorocauda, aka, Rocky the Jurassic Beaver, who is more than their match..

RAHONAVIS - Late Cretaceous, 70 million years ago, Madagascar
The bird-like Rahonavis hitches a ride from a gentle sauropod but then is forced to use its flight skills and vocal ability to escape from a pair of young Majungasaurus. Then the hunters become the hunted when the Majungasaurus have an unhappy encounter withBeelzebufo, the Devil Frog.

SHUNOSAURUS - Middle Jurassic, 165 million years ago, China
A juvenile prosauropod with a clubbed tail eats hallucinogenic mushrooms and has a psychedelic adventure while fleeing from a pair of raptors.

GIGANTORAPTOR - Late Cretaceous, 90 million years ago, Mongolia
The handsome Gigantoraptor puts on a magnificent mating dance unaware that his performance is playing havoc with the underground home of a family of tiny burrowing mammals.

A Troodon pack and an unlucky Tyrannosaurus are among the few survivors of the planet-wide catastrophe brought about by the great Baptistina asteroid impact.
