Pilot

After completing a term with the Air Force, this Utah native set off to chase his dreams in Alaska. While in the Air Force, Nick obtained his pilot's license and was ready for his next adventure. After some extensive job campaigning that involved daily letters to the Era Alaska office in Anchorage, Nick was finally granted an interview. He possessed the spirit for adventure, but lacked the funds to purchase an airline ticket so he packed up his ten year old Hyundai and began a road trip that would forever change his life. After sleeping in his car through 3 nights of frigid subzero temperatures he arrived in Anchorage…. with pneumonia. Despite his weakened condition he aced the interview and landed the opportunity of a lifetime.
