Flying Wild Alaska

SARAH FRAHER

Pilot / Bethel

sarah frayer

Sarah grew up an Air Force brat and became the first pilot in her family. She moved to Alaska in 2002 to attend the University of Alaska, Anchorage where she quickly developed an addiction to adrenaline, usually dispensed in the form of Ice Climbing.

In 2003 she started taking flight lessons in Anchorage and after many years of hard work eventually found herself flying the Cessna 207 for Era Alaska. She has flown from the most northern point in the country (Barrow, AK) to the farthest reaches in Southeast Alaska. Her favorite part of the job is flying 500 ft over the tundra, looking out her office window, and getting struck in awe over the majestic beauty of Alaska.
