Behind the Scenes: Harrisburg State Hospital Shoot In May 2010, Discovery Channel digital media visited Barry and Brad Klinge and the Everyday Paranormal crew as they shot at the Harrisburg State Hospital. Dating back to 1845, the hospital was founded as the Pennsylvania State Lunatic Hospital and Union Asylum for the Insane, but today most of the buildings on the 200-acre campus have been converted into offices for state agencies.
