Meet the Crew

Kris Allen was recruited out of a marine geomatics program to work for Odyssey in April 2006. Leaving school early to seize this opportunity, Kris was required to complete a major project while on his first stint at sea and even achieved honors in the program.

Having worked for a number of years in the Purcell Mountains as a ski instructor and repair technician, Kris is an avid skier and ardent hockey fan. He enjoys fishing and sailing with his wife aboard their cedar-plank boat. A guitar player, Kris makes sure to always have one of his guitars with him when he is on the ship.
